New Delhi: In the 18th Monthly Report on the Centralized Public Grievances Redressal and Monitoring System (CPGRAMS) released by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) for October 2023, the performance of the Department of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare takes center stage.

The report provides a detailed analysis of the types and categories of public grievances and the nature of their disposal during the mentioned period.

Achievements of Department of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare:

During October 2023, the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare recorded the reception of 10,363 public grievances, securing the top position among performers in the Grievance Redressal Assessment & Index within Group A (more than 500 grievances).

Notably, the department achieved the third rank in the Grievance Redressal Assessment & Index within the same category for October 2023.

The integration of CPGRAMS with the Common Service Centre (CSC) portal marked a significant development. In October 2023 alone, the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare received the highest number of grievances, totaling 5,347.

Among the grievances received in October 2023, 51.59% (5,347 out of 10,363) were filed through CSCs, highlighting the efficacy of this channel.

By the end of October 2023, out of the total 13,160 grievances (2,797 brought forward and 10,363 new), the department successfully disposed of 12,820, leaving 240 pending.

The report also reflected the cumulative performance from January to October 2023, where the department demonstrated an impressive disposal rate of 99.70%. During this period, out of a total of 111,193 grievances, 110,854 were resolved, leaving only 340 pending as of October 31, 2023.
