A group of IAS probationers (2020 batch) visited #O-Hub start up incubation centre of Odisha at Bhubaeswar recently. They interacted with Executive Chairman of Dr. Omkar Rai of O-Hub and other officials of Startup Odisha to understand the Startup ecosystem in Odisha and interacted with the startup minds. Chairman start-up Odisha said that for #startup #startupodisha , O-hub is the incubation centre to support start up formation and subsequent scale-up activated.
O-Hub is located within the Special Economic Zone in Patia at Bhuabneswar, built by MSME department in 1,50,000 square feet area with state of the art facility, plug-n-play infrastructure to support Start-up activities within the state.
O-hub has the mandate to facilitate 200 start-ups every year in diverse sectors like Healthcare, Renewable Energy, ICT, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality, Internet of Things, Handlooms and handicrafts, Agri-tech and many more.
