Manila, Philippines: As part of the ongoing Long Range Op Deployment, INS Kadmatt arrived at Manila, Philippines, on December 12, 2023, strengthening maritime ties between India and the Philippines.

During the port call, a wide range of engagements unfolded between the naval personnel of both countries. These activities included professional interactions, Subject Matter Expert Exchange, and cross-deck visits, all aimed at enhancing cooperation and exchanging best practices. Additionally, the visit featured engagements with school children and community outreach and social impact activities.

Following the departure from Manila, a Maritime Partnership Exercise is slated to take place in the South China Sea, involving INS Kadmatt and BRP Ramon Alcaraz, an offshore patrol vessel of the Philippine Navy.

Notably, INS Kadmatt is an indigenously designed and built Anti-Submarine Warfare Corvette, equipped with a state-of-the-art anti-submarine weapon suite. This visit serves as a testament to India’s commitment to fostering strong maritime partnerships and regional cooperation.
