PM at 7th India mobile Congress

New Delhi: The 7th India Mobile Congress 2023 is currently underway, and it has drawn participation from more than 30 startups hailing from the Software Technology Parks of India’s (STPI) tech startup ecosystem. These startups have taken the stage to showcase and demonstrate their innovative products, making this event a significant gathering for industry, government, academia, and various ecosystem players. The primary focus of this congress is to foster discussions and presentations regarding the latest trends in the realms of Technology, Media, Telecom (TMT), and Information and Communications Technology (ICT).

STPI, alongside the startup exhibitions, seized the opportunity to highlight its own suite of services. These services include Centres of Entrepreneurship (CoEs), Next Generation Incubation Services (NGIS), Data Centre services, and the Electronics Manufacturing Cluster (EMC 2.0) scheme, which is aimed at nurturing the IT/ITeS/ESDM industry. The goal here is to support and encourage innovation and growth within these sectors, aligning with India’s broader technological and economic development goals.

At this important event, DG STPI Arvind Kumar personally engaged with the participating startups. He did so with the intention of gaining deeper insights into their current offerings, understanding their product roadmaps, exploring the practical applications and utilities of their technology, and evaluating the real-world impact that their cutting-edge innovations are creating. This direct interaction between STPI’s leadership and these startups underscores the commitment to fostering a thriving tech ecosystem in India and encouraging forward-thinking entrepreneurship in the field of technology and communication.
