Kochi: A Man who claims to be a former member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses was detained for questioning in connection with homemade bomb explosions during a group meeting in Kerala, India. The incident resulted in the death of two women and left several people injured.
A second woman has since died, and many are in critical condition, including a 12-year-old girl with severe burns. Dominic Martin, who posted a video on Facebook claiming responsibility for the attacks, surrendered to the police in Thrissur district. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are working to verify his statement.
The explosions occurred during a Jehovah’s Witnesses convention in Kalamassery, near Kochi. It’s worth noting that Martin was not a registered member of the group.
