New Delhi: Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh is scheduled to embark on a two-day visit to London, United Kingdom (UK), commencing on January 8, 2024. He will be accompanied by a high-level Ministry of Defence delegation, which includes senior officials from DRDO, Service Headquarters, Department of Defence, and Department of Defence Production.
During his visit, the Raksha Mantri will engage in a bilateral meeting with his UK counterpart, Secretary of State for Defence Mr. Grant Shapps. The agenda for their discussions is expected to encompass a broad spectrum of defense, security, and industrial cooperation issues.
Rajnath Singh is also anticipated to meet with UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and hold discussions with Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Affairs Mr. David Cameron. Additionally, he will interact with CEOs and industry leaders of the UK Defence Industry and meet with the Indian community residing in the UK.
