New Delhi: The SARAS Aajeevika Mela 2025 at Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium, New Delhi, continues to attract thousands of visitors daily with its celebration of rural India’s craft, culture, and enterprise.

On Saturday, 13th September at 6:30 PM, the fair will present a special cultural evening featuring a live performance by acclaimed Rajasthani folk singer Mame Khan. Known for his soulful voice and mastery of traditional folk music, Mame Khan is set to electrify the audience with an unforgettable performance. Entry to the show is completely free, making it accessible for all to enjoy.

The mela has not only been about entertainment but also about empowering rural women and entrepreneurs. On 12th September, the Knowledge and Learning Pavilion hosted an insightful session on “Export Marketing of Lakhpati Didi Products”. Experts shared strategies for Self-Help Groups (SHGs) to tap into international markets, increase their earnings, and truly transform into ‘Lakhpati Didis’.

From handicrafts, handlooms, jewellery, home décor, to natural food products, women from across India’s states and union territories are showcasing their talent and enterprise at the fair. Visitors are engaging in interactive workshops, live demonstrations, and expert sessions that enhance the capacities of SHGs while offering a vibrant learning experience.
