Enhancing great expectations among general citizens at large, the budget is also likely to announce free power for irrigation for welfare of farmers.

UP Finance Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna tabled the first budget of Yogi Adityanath governments second term in the legislature. The budget went on to fulfil the promises made during the recently finished Assembly Elections. The budget for financial year 2022-23 is expected to exceed INR 6.10 lakh crore and is supposedly the most expensive budget ever.

In the budget, the state government highlighted to bring in over 4 lakh job opportunities in the coming five years. An amount of as much as INR 2100 crore is being allocated establishing medical colleges in 4 districts of the state. The budget also placed a holistic overview for overall community development by proposing Khelo India Centers in 75 districts in the state.

The budget by the state government also commits to launch Safe City scheme in Lucknow and Gautam Buddha Nagar besides building Green Energy Corridor in Bundelkhand worth INR 500 crores. The state will build 15000 solar pumps for agriculture irrigation and allocated a budget of INR 524.34 crores for enhancing women safety issues. Crucial elements as Special Protection Force has been granted INR 276.66 crores to protect airports and historical sites besides the state growing to have five International Airports shortly.
